TANDEM CYPRES 2

For Tandem Skydiving Rigs

The Tandem CYPRES is specifically designed to be used on Tandem style skydives, thus the higher activation altitude to allow for the larger canopies being used. The descent rate for the activation is the same as with the Expert CYPRES (78mph / 35mps) but the default activation altitude is approximately 1900 ft (580m) AGL.

*These temperature limits do not mean the outside (ambient) temperatures but rather temperatures inside the processing unit. Therefore, these limits won‘t have any meaning until the processing unit itself has reached the temperatures in question. In actual fact, these limits will rarely be reached due to the location of the CYPRES in the reserve container, and the insulating properties of the processing unit pouch and parachute canopies.

** If recommended maintenances have been performed within the scheduled time frames.

Airtec article numbers for the several configurations of the standard Tandem CYPRES 2. Meter scale or feet scale are factory preset as ordered, you can change the scale of your unit on your own anytime. Converting for the use from a 1-pin to a 2-pin container or vice versa only requires the in field swap of the appropriate cutter type (1-pin or 2-pin cutter).
